Artlist Statement
Jerry is a visual storyteller whose work delicately moves through the emotional intersections of memory, solitude, and transformation.
Through photography and film, he explores the quiet tension between presence and absence, often drawing inspiration from personal experiences of love, loss, and healing. His images are filled with a poetic stillness, capturing fleeting light, forgotten corners, and symbolic details that reflect an inner world.
Working primarily with film and low-tech cameras, Jerry embraces imperfection and chance, allowing the creative process to mirror the fluidity of emotion. Each frame becomes a contemplative space, where time slows and meaning gradually emerges. His work often drifts between documentary and dreamscape, inviting viewers to project their own emotions and stories onto the image, whether in still photographs or moving footage.
Jerry is particularly drawn to quiet portraits and serene landscapes, using his sensitivity to translate psychological states into visual form. With a gentle yet resonant approach, his imagery speaks to what is often left unspoken.
